A little background
Nothing brings me more joy than introducing new life to discarded or older pieces of furniture! I’ve been an avid DIY person forever, my dad teaching me a good part of what I know-- but I’m also self-taught. I fell into refinishing and updating furniture by chance: my daughter needed a dresser for her college apartment, so I purchased one at a garage sale for a bargain and changed its appearance completely; she loves it. I enjoyed the process so much that I began updating my own current furniture, garage sales finds, roadside pieces, and FB Marketplace purchases. I also started updating client-owned pieces, honing in on my creative process and bringing a new aesthetic to coordinate with ever-changing décor. Hence, Refreshed and Refinished by Laura was born!
I am located in Beverly Hills, Michigan and can deliver pieces within a 50-mile radius for a nominal fee. Pieces may also be dropped off at my home shop for refinishing, repainting and redesigning. If you would like a piece shipped, an estimate will be given upon request. At this time, cash, Venmo, or Zelle is accepted as payment.
